Threaded Tees
In the production process of threaded tees, there are two types: forging and casting. Forging refers to the process of heating and forging steel ingots or round rods into shape, and then machining threads on a lathe. Casting refers to the process of melting steel ingots and pouring them into the model of the tee, and then cooling them down to form it. Due to different manufacturing processes, the magnitude of pressure they bear also varies, and the pressure resistance of forging is much higher than that of casting.
The main manufacturing standards for threaded tees generally include GB/T14626, ASME B16.11, and BS3799.
